Advancing From Touch Screen Phones to Touch-Free

eyeSight Mobile Technologies has come up with a new technology which allows consumers to control their cell phones without touching the screen. Currently this technology is only available on a Nokia 5800. With this new application, people are able to make hand gestures in front of their phone camera, causing the music to play/stop, skip, etc.
This new development, called Hand Gesture, is going to make eyeSight Mobile Technologies a very important player in this part of the industry. They are currently working out a license with mobile companies in order to have this application available to the new smartphones.
Applications like this will surely change future electronics. It's currently only available for phones, but soon after it will most likely be available for MP3s, laptops, TVs, etc. This will most likely make devices such as remotes, mouse, and more useless, helping companies to spend less money on these products and more on the actual electronic itself.
